Reflections

Valynnda Lee Bennett was born to Leonard M. Wills and Peggy Lee Wills (Henderson) on February 21, 1970 in Shelbyville, IN.  She graduated from high school in Trotwood, OH, then went on to the U.S. Navy where she served for 4 years.  After the Navy she went to Ivy Tech to obtain her nursing licenses.  She worked in the medical field for the past 10 years in various hospitals and institutions in Indianapolis.

She was loved by all who came in contact with her. Valynnda took her walk in Christ at a young age and was baptized at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.  Most important, she loved people and animals, especially her dog (Justice), whom never left her side.  She cherished her mom and her Phil (PU) and her father Leonard Wills.  She was a loving daughter.  She is preceded in death by her sister, Casandra Jaramillo.

She leaves to cherish in her memory, brothers, Dante C. Morris (Lacreshia) of Columbus, OH, Henry Begley (Wendy) of Rushville, IN; aunts, Margaret Wills, Columbus, OH, Dorothy Ann Gore, Hampton, VA, Mary E. Johnson, New Castle, KY, Sheila Henderson, New Port News, VA, Darlene Henderson, Hampton, VA; uncles, Phillip Henderson, Shelbyville, IN, Frankie Henderson (Judy) Columbus, IN, Larry Henderson, Jacksonville, FL; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at noon with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time service at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1301 N. Goodlet Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

The anguish that we feel when a loved one dies may seem as if will never diminish, and though friends and family try their best to help, we know that they are suffering from pain due to the loss as well. This may lead us to wonder if there is any hope of gaining relief from our suffering, the Bible points us to the best source of comfort at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. Here we can see that not only does Jehovah God provide us with comfort, but he also gives us strength to help comfort others. This is just one of the many loving provisions spoken of in the Bible. I truly hope that your family is able to gain some peace and comfort from this scripture; and that you will have an opportunity to visit JW.ORG, where you will be able to find many more comforting scriptural promises as well as satisfying answers to important questions that many people have about God and the Bible.

Safe in the arms of Jesus. Safe from the sins of the world. Sin cannot harm you there. Our sister Valynnda had an effervescent personality.
She loved her patients and everyone she ever met. She was a champion for the disadvantaged and you could tell by the way she cared. We love you at Life’s Touch Home Health and you will be greatly missed.
